Cat6 locking cables and RJ45 locks have proved a popular choice, especially across the Healthcare, Education, Finance, Transportation, Hospitality and Manufacturing industries. They are an ideal low cost security solution for unsecured network cabinets or communal areas such as meeting rooms, hot-desking or for those critical remote office connections.

Each Cat6 locking patch cable (available in lengths from 50cm to 10m) is individually packaged and includes a locking key. To remove the cable you simply push the key in to the security latch and pull, this in turn easily releases the cable from the outlet, patch panel or active equipment. Better still they boast a 15 year manufacturers warranty and are 100% Cat6 component tested and certified.

Critical care, training centres, co-location data centres, wireless installations and retail POS locations often have existing cables and open ports that need to be secured. Our RJ45 Lockdown Patch Cable Locks can quickly be fitted to existing patch cables using small grub screws installed with either Allen or Torque keys. Jack locks are simply pushed in to position within seconds. When removal is required you use the corresponding keys and they can be re-deployed elsewhere as required.
