The majority of non-standard Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a can be manufactured locally in the UK using bulk stranded cable reels, connectors, and plugs. These can be terminated, tested and delivered within just a few days of ordering. However, for specialist projects we can design and arrange for the manufacture of your exact specification, whether that be a non-standard length, termination, or colour. This could be is maybe as simple as different coloured boots on either end of a patch cable, or as complex as non-standard pin outs using a specific cable construction.

Tight Buffered, Loose Tube and CST Armoured Pre-Terminated Fibre Assemblies
Our depth of experience around datacentre cabinet to cabinet (rack to rack) links allows us to be very specific with lengths. This takes into consideration the required containment route and whether the terminated cable is to be installed in the front or rear of a rack and at what U height. Primarily we splice with LC connectors, however, we can also terminate with SC or ST connectors for legacy networks.
Category 6A Short Length RJ45 Patch Cables – 26AWG F/STP LS0H Snagless RJ45 Boot
The Cat6a 10Gigabit-BaseT short length is available as a 20cm option. They’re manufactured using a S/FTP shielded construction, coupled with a LS0H cable jacket and 50µm gold connectors. The RJ45 ends have flush moulded snagless boots and as expected, certified to 500Mhz to meet global Cat6a standards.Standard fibre terminations are also available in short 25cm lengths and many half metre increments, across both single and multi-modes. The same goes for our own brand of C15 – C14 HOT conditioning power cables with 6x lengths across 6x colourways, including a 0.75m blue and red option which is great for vertical power to network switch installations in a standard width IT rack.
Our purchasing team place weekly import orders with our global supply chain, ensuring timely sea or air freight delivery, hence helping to save on additional individual delivery charges. Each month our warehouse receives regular container and pallet consignments of our own branded cabling products, so you can rest assured that we already have the popular products in our UK warehouse, ready for immediate next day shipment.
