Compatible with 250v/15A equipment, they are designed to operate in high ‘HOT’ temperatures for longer periods of time, unlike the thinner 10A equivalent. These power cables are widely used to connect network switches and servers into PDU’s and UPS’s.
It’s always advisable to keep power cable lengths to a minimum, reducing both power loss and unintentional contact that will interfere with the data cabling or other installed equipment. Therefore, Patch Solutions have designed a range of 7 lengths up to 3 metre that are perfect for equipment connections within IT racks, cabinets and enclosures. Each coloured IEC cable has a matching coloured C14 plug and C15 connector, making them a great choice for visually identifying different power paths or applications, within an installed environment.

C15 to C14 HOT Conditioning IEC 60320 Jumper Cables
Our range of C15 HOT conditioning power cables are supplied with no plastic packaging. Better still, they are supplied coiled, rather than hanked. This ensures quick, and tidy on-site installations for the installer as they can neatly dress into cable management, without the untidy sight of kinked cable runs. The C15 connector is designed for equipment with a C16 inlet which is widely used by leading manufacturers, including Cisco, HPE and DELL.
Category 6A Short Length RJ45 Patch Cables – 26AWG F/STP LS0H Snagless RJ45 Boot
The Cat6a 10Gigabit-BaseT short length is available as a 20cm option. They’re manufactured using a S/FTP shielded construction, coupled with a LS0H cable jacket and 50µm gold connectors. The RJ45 ends have flush moulded snagless boots and as expected, certified to 500Mhz to meet global Cat6a standards.The C15 power connector is not too dissimilar to the traditional C13, but has a small notch at it’s base under the earth pin. Historically, this C15 3 pin connector was used only for high voltage devices, hence often referred to as HOT conditioning. However, it is now becoming the connector of choice as you are less likely to experience accidental disconnects or cables becoming loose overtime due to vibration.
Patch Solutions supply a 0.75 metre in both a red or blue colour which is ideal for use with vertical PDU’s installed in standard 19” racks, providing a neat and tidy vertical cable run often without the need for additional horizontal cable management bars.

To enhance both the C15 and C14 connections further, you have the option to install our secure tension sleeves on to each connection type. This is a great low-cost option to prevent them from coming loose over time and helps to avoid accidental disconnects in high density environments, as once installed they will require a much greater force for the cable removal.
