This cassette solution is easy to handle and fast to install, allowing you to build a datacentre fibre solution that can grow with your business.
Its tool-less design uses one click latching lock and release technology, allowing for the cassettes to be inserted and removed from either the front or rear of a chassis. With up to 24 fibres (12 duplex) on each cassette you can quickly build ultra-high density 120 fibres in a 1U chassis or use the 2U option for up to 288 fibre adapters.
Each fibre cassette, whether single or multimode, has the option to be supplied with adapters and grommet only (to install pre terminated cables), as a splice tray with pigtails for onsite fibre termination, or with pre terminated MPO male connectors at the rear for use with either 12 or 24 core MTP female truck cables.

1U and 2U Cassette Solution for Multimode and Singlemode LC Duplex Fibre
As well as the standard 1U and 2U compatible cassettes, there is also a Zero U module available for housing a single cassette on to a vertical frame. This is useful for adding additional fibre or copper uplinks when no additional U space is available within a fully populated IT rack. There is also the option of SC Duplex adapters and Cat6a uplinks (4 per module), as well as bespoke cassette design option with a single cassette containing both copper and fibre adapters.
Category 6A Short Length RJ45 Patch Cables – 26AWG F/STP LS0H Snagless RJ45 Boot
The Cat6a 10Gigabit-BaseT short length is available as a 20cm option. They’re manufactured using a S/FTP shielded construction, coupled with a LS0H cable jacket and 50µm gold connectors. The RJ45 ends have flush moulded snagless boots and as expected, certified to 500Mhz to meet global Cat6a standards.The 1U and 2U chassis has the option of rear cable management and also a front cable manager that flips down to provide space for detailed labelling of the installed solution. If all of the chassis holes are not initially populated, blanks can be supplied to ensure that the installation looks neat and prevents a build-up of dirt and dust near to the installed fibre, until such time as more cassettes are then added.

Cassettes containing the fibre adapters only are designed to work with our pre-terminated tight buffered fibre cables. They’re used with the existing rear grommet, ensuring simple on-site installation. The majority of MPO 12 Core cables are available for immediate next day delivery, with 24 core MPO cable options quickly manufactured in our UK workshop and despatched to site within just a couple of days.

IEC Secure Tension Sleeves
