Zettonics is manufactured using industry-standard connectivity around a smart and innovative design. Using a cassette based solution there is either a 1U or 2U chassis, designed for 19 inch racks and even a zero U option for side rack mounting. Each cassette has a pull/push release that locks the cassette into place and these can be loaded from either the front or rear to help with installation challenges and minimising disturbance in live environments.

Primarily the cassettes are based around OM4 Multimode and OS2 Singlemode LC fibre adapters. The 1U 5 slot chassis can provide 120 fibres (60x Duplex connections) and the 2U 12 slot chassis an incredible 288 fibres (144 Duplex connections) all ready for immediate patching, complete with front and rear cable management. This solution is ideal for data centres and enterprise as it’s very easy to handle and install. At the rear of the cassette you can select from MTP or traditional pre term input. Legacy SC and SC/APC adapter cassettes are also available, along with a Cat6a cassette containing 4x shielded modules for maximum 10GBaseT termination flexibility.
